I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Strategy and Innovation Department at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. I will be joining London Business School as an Assistant Professor starting in July 2023.

My research focuses on corporate sustainability, with a particular interest in climate change and firm strategies.  In my job market paper, I examine whether, how, and under what conditions firms adapt to physical climate risks.

I was the recipient of
the Best Ph.D. Paper Award 2022 by the UN PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment), the Questrom’s 2021 Award for Outstanding Doctoral Research, and runner-up of the Best Paper Award at the Annual Ivey/ARCS Ph.D. Sustainability Academy in 2021. I received the Research Fellowship from the Global Development Policy Center between 2020 and 2022.

I hold a Master of Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University in New York City, United States; and received bachelor’s degrees (BA, BS, and Economics) from Peking University in Beijing, China. Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a Regional Associate Director at Aon and a Consultant at Environmental Resources Management in Hong Kong.
